Jessica's Jottings:

On faith, food, family and frugality

About

I have an on again/off again love affair with grammar, alliteration and copy editing.

I am a Christ follower…someone who longs to hear God say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

I am a real foodie.

I enjoy the fruit of frugality: generosity.

I am a wannabe guitarist, a poet/songwriter/singer/web site designer/developer.

I am a work in progress.

I am a mommy and a wife – two high callings that I struggle with not being swallowed by. I love my husband. I love my children. But if I’m waiting on them from the time I arise to the time I go to sleep, then when shall I wait upon my God?

I am a Gungorian. 😀

I think that most people make mountains out of molehills, struggling with the specks of others instead of paying attention to their own planks.

I have four beautiful children and one I long to meet the one on the other side.

My husband is amazing: loving and long-suffering…I’d say more, but he might read this someday and I don’t want to overly embarrass him. 😀
We’ve been married forever twelve wonderful years.

My end goal with this blog is to be able to stick to something other than marriage and mommydom for more than six months. Also…writing is really good therapy for me! 😀

I’d say more…but I have an undiapered wee one running about – I need to fix that. (And over three years years after I started this blog, this still happens. hahahaha…I’m totally having a no more diapers party after Katelyn is fully potty trained.)

Enjoyed your page. I am also fairly fanatical about the first one, too! 🙂
